What bands are you going to see or hoping to go see this year?

I'm going to see Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band in Dusseldorf in June which I'm uber excited about!

Also almost definitely going to see Blue Man Group in Oberhausen next wednesday If you don't know the...

If you won 20m on the lottery and could book any artists for a gig, who would you choose and why?

I have a list of about 40 bands of various genres I'd give my left arm to see, so will have to attempt to narrow it down and get back to you...but is anyone slightly more decisive than I am?

Been absent for awhile, but now I'm magically back and have found a fantastic FREE audiobook site. librivox.org.

They are aiming, as a web community project, to record all public domain literature and welcome volunteers to help.

Nice to see JP, in his blog, has finally gotten around to reading Brave New World, that he kindly lent me last year.

Hi peeps, I am finally moving to London in a few months. We have a flat (Brixton!!!), so all is well. Now, any recommendations for good music venues? We're down the road from Brixton Academy for the bigger gigs, we know of The Spitz, Ginglik @ Sheperd's Bush, we also have the jazz clubs covered, but there are bound to be more venues for good live music.

what do you think about launching a Nizlopi fan chat or something like that? I've often thought how nice it would be to meet you people online and then there was only the forum and nothing else.

My suggestion would be to have some Internet Relay Chat channel for that, don't know if there are other suggestions.

Any comments on this?
