Farrls you're lucky, the last time I saw them was March 2006! I'm salivating at the thought of seeing them again soon!

Also, I was looking at the Nizlopi news section and it says that they're appearing on The Cafe on RTE 2 at 2 o' clock on thursday. The Cafe is normally on at 7 o' clock though so I;m a bit confused. I'm trying to get tickets to be in the audience (a bit late, I know, but sure it's worth a shot). Does anyone know if it's just a mistake on the Niz page or if they're actually recording it at 2, because it's usually a live show!

EDIT: I just rang up and got tickets booked and I asked the girl on the phone and Niz are definitely on it!! Ooh, mega excited now!! Look out for me on tv

no it's on live at 7, I dunno why it says 2pm on the niz website!

I'm just home after being at the recording of the show and it was AWESOME !! The show itself was grand, a few of the cast of skins were on and they were good enough. Nizlopi played at the very end and they were fantastic!! The played Start Beginning and rocked the house as usual! I was there with my brother and my girlfriend and we were lucky enough to get the seats that were right in front of the stage so when they finished playing and the programme ended my girlfriend asked them to play another song. They were all up for it but they the mikes had alread been switched off and the crew were already taking down the set. So Luke said to us that he'll come out to the hall and play for us. We were well chuffed and we went out into the hall and waited for them. After a few minutes they came out and we were talking to them for a little while. They are two of the nicest most down to earth people I've ever met and they seemed genuinely interested in talking to us which was cool. Then they played Last Night In Dakar for us standing in the hallway of the tv studio and it was amazing. During the song a whole load of the guests from the show, and the 2 presenters came out of the hospitality suite to have a listen and they were all suitable impressed! It was very cool at the start though because it was literally Luke and JP playing to just the three of us and it was awesome! After Last Night In Dakar they invited us into the hospitality suite and they played I'm Alive Again while tow of the guys from skins had a dance off, which was quite interesting! After that song we got kicked out of the suite because we were only audience members but the boys had stopped playing anyway! I did get my copy of Extraordinary signed before we left though! Luke and JP were so cool and really easy to chat to, it's gotten me SO excited about seeing them live again in May, pity it's so long away!!

All in all, an awesome evening!!

True, that's the second time I've met them and both times have only made me like them more as a band and both times they gave the impression that they appreciated me being a fan of their music, it's really good to see that in a band!
