What bands are you going to see or hoping to go see this year? I'm going to see Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band in Dusseldorf in June which I'm uber excited about! Also almost definitely going to see Blue Man Group in Oberhausen next wednesday If you don't know the Blue Man Group then you really should check them out. Search them on youtube (although there are alot of badly shot/camera phone vids of them there) or check out their website (www.blueman.com) but obviously the best thing to do if at all possible is to see them live, an exprience you will NOT forget quickly!! So what's everyone else going to? Keep on truckin'

Looks like I'll be heading for Glastonbury as well so it's going to be a year of festivals for me, huzzah. I'm lucky in that my job means I'm generally at at least one gig every night, so I count myself very lucky. Mostly jazz though, so I guess it depends if you like that kind of thing or not! Sam I got the impression that you actually had good taste in music!! Where did it go wrong? And apparantly there's a rumour going around that Tom Waits is playing in Ireland this summer, I dunno how true it is though! You should definitely try see Paul Simon if you can, I saw him once before and once when himself and Garfunkle toured and both times were amazing! Keep on truckin'

The man is a legend. And as for the band....WHOA!!! 3 hours of non-stop, pedal to the f***g metal Rock 'n Roll! Springsteen really knows how to perform and was down in the crowd every chance he got! I'm seriously blown away!! I might have mentioned this already but one of his guitarists is Stevie Van Zandt otherwise known as the legendary Silvio Dante in Sopranos. His drummer, as well as having awesome chops, is Max Weinberg who is the resident drummer on Late Night With Conan O' Brien. And the sax player, well I don't know who he is but man is he one cooooooooooooolll mother f**r!!! Keep on truckin'
