A gang of us drove for two hours to get to this gig, didn't get home and into bed till 2am then had to get up early this morning but it was all worth it; I think I'll be smiling for a few weeks to come. There was such a great atmosphere and so many dedicated fans singing their hearts out. Setlist (think i'm missing one after Call It Up, too busy dancing!): 1. Song in crowd, didn't recognise it... 2. Fine story to tell 3. Helen 4. Faith ?. Find Me....(with bradley on guitar and luke on bodhran) 5. Answers (in crowd) Brilliant!! 6. Last night in dakar (in crowd) 7. Start beginning 8. Flodded quarry 9. Call it up 10. JCB 11. England Uprise (Ireland Uprise!) 12. Wash away 13. All my life (in crowd) I'm still lost for words, everything was just perfect.....the crowd up dancing....the new song 'Answers'.......All My life, just amazing. This simply cannot be the last tour for nizlopi, too much talent and love to let it fade away. I'll put the videos and pics up soon. Hope everyone's enjoying the gigs. Maeve Rehab's for quitters. fine story to tell Posts: 44 (10/21/08 22:14:25) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Yep got it, missed the first couple of words and you can hear lots of singing in the background but its all good cause I was as close as I could possibly be All My Life The very last line he's singing is '...love yourself today, ok...ok....' from Damien Dempsey's song of the same name, it sounds great. I have Last Night in Dakar in full, small bits of Find Me and Wash Away and a couple of seconds of the first song which hopefully someone can ID for me. I'll put these up soon. Is that your voice that we can hear singing along? I was at the gig in Dublin and once again it was amazing! Here's the setlist: Start Beginning (In Crowd) I'm Alive Again, Find Me (With Bradley on guitar and Luke on Bodhrán, and including a storming solo from JP) Helen (at any of the other shows did Luke tell his story of how he wrote Helen and then start to sing "You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you...." I've never seen them do this before and I thought it was hilarious) Yesterday (In Crowd) Dakar (In Crowd) Flooded Quarry Call It Up England Uprise If You Care About It JCB Freedom All My Life into Not On Your Own Tonight by Damien Dempsey (In Crowd) It's so hard to pick but I think this may have been my favourite Niz gig so far! Did anyone else buy Last Nights On Tour? I'm suitably impressed by it! Keep on truckin'

The other voice is the guy who said 'that's just beautiful' and ya from a digital camera, 7.2 mega pixels, so good enough quality. Ya Luke told us the Helen story too, about how he wrote the song in a graveyard and maybe that's why she wasn't too impressed, ha ha! No I didn't see anything called Last Nights on Tour, just the Looking for Answers mini disc is it another cd? Rehab's for quitters.

I'd forgotten you had the setlist, thanks. I dunno, I think anyone who loves Nizlopi is a legend but to be fair to us we've probably created the most Niz fans within one university!!!!! Come to UL lads, ye'll be well looked after! Just got the other video clips up now. And pics will follow I promise! I've half of Find Me and Last Night in Dakar in full. I was messing with the camera for Find Me, trying to put it down somewhere safe so I could stand up and dance, hence the funny sideways shots for the first few seconds! Rehab's for quitters.
