Right so we have a Musicians' forum and no musicians apparently! Well I just don't believe it.

As some of you know by now, my good friend Craig Mitchell runs a fabulous little venue in SW London called the Acoustic Lounge. In the last 2yrs it's gotten itself a great reputation for up and coming artists. We often get industry people coming to check out the talent and have also had the likes of Guy Chambers (renowned songwriter for Robbie Williams) and Tom Baxter play there in the past. Anyway it's a great little place with a capacity for about 100 people. It has a listening policy so the crowd is always super quiet and respectful of the artists playing.

Anyway, recently i've been helping Craig get some new music into the Lounge....which is where you lot come in!
I'm looking for some new talent. I know it's out there, as for one, I saw Joe from Artisan write a post on here a while back! So, if you think you are good enough to play a gig at the Lounge, then please start a (separate) thread for yourself including a bit about yourself/music, what other venues you've played recently, and include links to at least 3 mp3's (at least 1 preferred live as opposed to studio recorded). Please don't send me to your website to download mp3's....direct links only. If you have no server space then you can upload them to mine by going to www.streamload.com/Roots/Upload.asp and typing in the username FGM.
Am not promising anything, but if i like what i hear, we'll try and sort something out.
This is only for regular members of this board. If you post here promoting yourself on your 1st post, i will more then likely ignore it. At the end of the day, this is a board for fans of Nizlopi, not random musicians looking for gigs.
